Saturday 11 January 2025 - friend and I came here for dinner at 7pm. First time for both of us. Since there are only two of us, we cannot order too many dishes. Ordered ABC soup, fuyong egg, stir fry kailan with roast pork, tofu with mixed vegetables and prawns. At that time, it's dinner time, almost all the tables were occupied. Since was waiting for my friend to turn up, places the order and wait. By the time my friend turned up, the food came a little earlier, just before he arrived. Good timing. Food is really good. Price is also very reasonable. As we sat down to chit chat, after our dinner, time was already like 9pm. Asked the lady owner, whether they have fried noodles. She said usually on weekdays, and weekends don't do noodles, especially during dinner time. As we sat past 9pm, we get to order hokkien kuay teow mee. When that day do not have many customers, then they can do fried noodles, because frying noodles do consume a bit of time to cook. There is only 1 person doing all the cooking. The rest, very likely to be family members are assisting. This too was quite good. Much better than some famous hokkien Mee specialty shops. This place, is in fact has been moved to the current location about a year ago. Before that they were like a few doors away, and have been there for some 24 years. Toilets, though may not be appealing, but are kept decently clean. Accepts cash and e-wallet for payments.

Food is decent, home cooked taste, nothing too heavy but it's enjoyable The tofu is very good, definitely recommend the homemade tofu as must try, ask them for recommendations on home made ones Tofu is very soft and fresh, definitely surprised from this discovery Prawn is fresh The pork is a bit tough though Menu is on the wall, no books or pictures Might need google translation for non chinese Atmosphere is okay open kitchen so you can pretty much smell what is being cooked, smell might get on clothes right beside the main road with no AC nothing fancy but it's acceptable Parking in the area is kinda difficult, consider coming early

It used to be a run down place. Now they move to a better, bigger, and cleaner place. Just a few shops next to the old shop. We have dined here for many years. The food is nice and tasty. Is a bit on the salty side. If you are not able to take heavy flavour you can ask for less salts. The fish they have is amazing. Fresh and cooked well. Very moist and flicking. The option for meat and veg is a lot too. Great for small to mid company meals as well. Highly recommended to order fish dishes.
